1st ACE-B Symposium: The Best Poster Award goes to a woman named Assetou Diarra.

At the end of the First Symposium of the African Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics (ACE-B) held from March 11 to 12, 2019, at the Regional Center for Solar Energy (CRES) in Bamako, on the theme: “Bioinformatic for global health “, the Best Poster Award went to a woman named Assetou Diarra.

According to Pr. Doulaye Dembélé, the criteria of choice related to the contents of the articles, the quality of the presentations, the scientific context, and the answers to the questions of the assistance.

Assetou Djonègué Diarra, PhD student in molecular entomology at the Malaria Research and Training Center, is a biologist. She studied the Master of Bio-informatics at the African center of excellence of bioinformatics of Bamako, from 2015 to 2017.

Participant at the first symposium of the center, she won the prize for the best poster on the poster on Genomic and Molecular Characterization of the Bacterial Populations observed in the water of breeding sites and in larvae of Anopheles coluzzii and Anopheles gambiae in Nanguilabougou and Kouroubabougou.
