Prime Minister Dr. Boubou CISSE at the UCRC laboratory: “Here, I saw excellence in all its dimensions. It is better to see once than to hear a thousand times.”
As part of the prevention and response to the coronavirus epidemic, Prime Minister Dr Boubou CISSE visited the laboratories of the University Clinical Research Center (UCRC-Mali), on Saturday, March 14th, 2020, to see the “capabilities of “diagnosis” of coronavirus disease.
“Visiting this research laboratory that I had heard a lot about is a great pride. Because, it is better to see once than to hear a thousand times. Here, I saw excellence in all its dimensions (clinical, research and human resources). It’s a Pride for Mali, for Africa and certainly for the World. ” .
This message written by the Prime Minister, Dr. Boubou CISSE, during the signing of the “Guestbook“, is a sign of recognition and encouragement to the UCRC-Mali team, for the current work it’s doing anonymously to diagnose suspected COVID-19 cases in Mali.
To date, 37 suspect cases have been sampled in Mali, thanks to the involvement of the UCRC: All NEGATIVE.
