His Excellency Mr. Mahamadou Nimaga, Ambassador of the Republic of Mali to the United States received on Thursday, November 21, 2019, the courtesy visit of Professors Ouaténi DIALLO and Mahamadou DIAKITÉ, respectively Rector and Vice-Rector of the University of Sciences, Techniques and Technologies (USTTB) of Bamako.
Our eminent professors are in Washington for the annual meeting of the American Association of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. During the exchanges, cooperation in the fields of health and scientific research was mentioned. In the analysis, three important points emerge that make Mali proud:
- Mali is the first partner of the NIH.
- Mali is second in Africa after South Africa in biomedical research.
- Mali is third in Africa after South Africa and Kenya in medical research.
