Mr. Bourahima KONE received his Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Science and Technique of the University of Sciences of Techniques and Technologies of Bamako (USTTB) in Mali.
He also succeeded his bachelor of science in Nursing and a Master in Public Health (Option Epidemiology) from the Faculty of Medicine of the same University. Throughout his career, he had the opportunity to manage and develop research projects on HIV and TB as part of the activities of the SEREFO Laboratory.
He has more than a decade of experience in Lab management, herein was officially appointed as Lab manager at UCRC in 2017. He also has expertise in Quality assurance and Control of clinical Labs. He wrote and updated Standard operating Procedures (SOPs) with respect to ISO15189 Guidelines. He has been certified as a Biorisk manager by the International Federation of Biosafety Associations (IFBA).
He is currently a member of the Malian Association of Biosafety and Biosecurity (AMBIOS/MABB).
