This Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the Faculty of Medicine – The Minister of National and Higher Education, Professor Mahamadou Famanta visited the UCRC (University Clinical Research Center) laboratory. He had with him the United States Ambassador to Mali, His Excellency Dennis Hankins.
UCRC-Mali has a BSL-3 responsible for inactivating the virus before diagnosis (rendering the virus harmless), a molecular biology laboratory (the unit responsible for diagnosing the virus), etc.
The Minister was overjoyed to see the work done by these research entities in the fight against the Covid-19 in Mali.
